Saxony

A Saxony carpet is made of twisted carpet fibres that stand up straight with a cut loop pile; the pile is weaved incredibly densely in order to create a soft carpet fibre and provide superior comfort underfoot. Its long pile makes it easy to flatten, however, so wardrobe and cupboard feet marks won’t necessarily spring back as you might wish. This hard wearing carpet comes in super soft ranges and is an is popular for bedrooms and rooms you need to show off! The sumptuous thick piles of saxony carpet are a treat for toes.

Loop

Perfect for busy family homes, loop pile carpets feel soft underfoot and can deal with wear in high traffic spaces. Loop pile carpets disguise marks well and bring definition into the home. The blend of comfort and durability makes them Ideal for your hall, lounge or bedroom. However not suitable for home with pets though as claws can catch.

Berber

Made from uncut continuous loops on the surface and has a distinctive knot appearance. Carpet can be looped, with a low-profile pile construction, which is known for maintaining its appearance, or have loops of different heights to form a textured pile. For a busy room, choose a Berber with smaller or tighter loops, which easily bounce back and decrease the chance of loops crushing and matting with wear and tear. A good all-rounder, however, not a great choice if you have pets, particularly cats, as they may pull up the loops with their claws.
